It’s raining today, when the car in front of me decides they need to make a right turn from the left lane of the off ramp. And comes to a complete stop for no apparent reason right in front of me, no blinker, while traffic is flying up behind me coming off the interstate.

Since I had no idea what fecesface was doing (because blinkers are hard) the horn was laid on until they were off the off ramp. You do not put me in danger by coming to a complete stop on a 50 mph road.

Tangential rant: why the hell do people in Texas SLOW DOWN ON THE ON RAMP. The frontage road speed limit is 55mph, I-35 is 65mph, what part of this is too hard to understand? Why are you slowing down??? This is the most annoying thing when you’re driving a 65hp car and need the on ramp to ACCELERATE TO HIGHWAY SPEED. Holy shit, why are people this fucking stupid allowed to drive?

I drive down from Round Rock every day and see it every time I get on I-35. I don’ t get it either. I want to be doing highway speed at the bottom of the ramp, not 20 below.

I use the horn a couple times a day. Very rarely because I’m angry (although that also happens) but because people are clueless and unable to follow simple markings on the road.

I won’t wait until someone actively drifts into my lane to honk, if they go over the line next to me I will do a honk.

(Usually because I’m doing twice the speed limit)

Ugh, h ad to use mine today, too . A left lane hog going 5-10ish mph under the limit decided to wait until I was alongside her to merge into the right lane (without signaling, of course).

This is why I don't think I could ever DD a vintage car. I'd need something with more than 100hp and front disc brakes.

The Saab 96 actually had front disc brakes from 1967 onwards. To get more than 100 hp you would need some rally parts though.
